Principal Advanced Data Analyst

Your strategic vision will help serve customers and transform lives through innovative solutions and impactful connections.As a Principal Advanced Data Analyst your tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:As a Principal Advanced Analytics, you’ll serve as the measurement engine behind the Mass Markets Transformation portfolio, quantifying benefits and business impact across initiatives, including AI-driven value.You’ll work side-by-side with transformation leads to define success upfront, translate project outcomes into measurable KPIs, and build the reporting and analytics needed to track value from launch through scale.You’ll also partner closely with Finance to align on methodology, ensure credibility of benefit claims, and create a consistent, repeatable approach to value measurement across the portfolio.Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, clear executive-ready communication, comfort working across multiple initiatives, the ability to turn complex results into actionable insights that drive decisions, and strong financial and analytical skills.Key Roles and Responsibilities:• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to solve a variety of business problems, predict behaviors, and identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictions. Well-versed with Relational (Ex- Oracle or MySQL) and/or Data Warehouse data storage (Ex- Snowflake or Databricks Delta Lake). Data sources including but not limited to internal and external sources, data lakes, data warehouses such as eCDW, BIDW, etc.• Statistical Methods and Decision Support: Apply a range of advanced statistical methods to quantify data variances and uses traditional modeling techniques to support decision-making. Most common tools are Tableau, Palantir, PowerBI (AI Insights), Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, etc.• Business Case Development and Analytics Tools: Develop business cases and create complex models utilizing big data analytics tools (Ex- Tableau, Power BI AI Insights, Databricks) for modeling and process integration, and to make recommendations for improvements to processes, financials, business models, etc. Build and test predictive models on various data samples and verifies their accuracy in real-world scenarios (Ex- Linear/Logistic Regression, Time Series).• Reporting and Business Insights: Develop visualizations such as dashboards, reports, and charts, and advise business partners on data patterns and relationships to recommend strategic directions. Advise business partners with regard to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.Supervisor:NoTCP Career Step Differentiator:Performs very complex advanced analytics work, creates new ways of analyzing data, builds very complex business models, and makes recommendations that impact an entire business unit or very large complex sector.Education:Master's degree (MS/MA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics.Experience:7+ years of related experience.Certification is required in some areas.Compensation and Benefits offered:Our Principal Advanced Analytics earns between $141,300 - $237,400 USD Annual.
