Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or residents by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, common spaces, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention. Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorization when required, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or unauthorized access attempts. Complete routine reports and incident documentation, maintaining accurate records of patrol activity, observations, and/or interactions that support daily location operations. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
