Dance Coach
Talladega College Dance Coach position is seasonal. Specific timelines for performances are required. Below are specific functions and expectations that Dance Coach must outline for team participants:
- Participate in Talladega College Annual Homecoming Parade
- Dance at all home men and women basketball games
- Dance at all required functions as outlined during the academic semester
- Practice and participate in weekly training
- Maintain good academic standing of grade point average of 2.5 or above
- Exhibit good character, integrity and personal presentation at all times
- Must have prior experience of dance and committed to enhancing dance skills/performances
Job Description/Duties:
- Responsible for creating and teaching dance routines to dance
- Responsible for maintaining current dance training skills
- Responsible for monitoring academic progress of members participating on dance team.
- Must supervise all auditions for new team members
- Responsible to manage team travel when applicable
- Responsible to manage team budget and obtaining necessary equipment for team
- Responsible to manage team and hold accountable good academics standings, ethical behavior and maintain exceptional discipline
