Work Setting : Onsite manufacturing and supply chain leadership role based in Fremont, CA Travel : Minimal Compensation : $155,000 to $185,000 base salary plus annual bonus opportunity up to 16% Benefits : Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, employee stock programs, and additional corporate benefits Relocation : Available on a case-by-case basis for qualified candidates Sponsorship: Will consider H1b- transfers /TN-1 Visas Position Summary A global leader in advanced semiconductor and photonics technology is seeking a Supply Planning Manager to lead end-to-end production and supply planning across complex manufacturing operations. This leadership role is responsible for translating customer demand into executable manufacturing plans while balancing capacity, materials, inventory, and operational constraints. The Supply Planning Manager will oversee a team of planners, drive supply-demand alignment, and serve as a key contributor to the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability, manufacturing planning expertise, and leadership experience within semiconductor or complex manufacturing environments. This person will play a critical role in ensuring delivery performance, managing operational risks, and supporting business growth in a rapidly evolving technology market. Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end production and supply planning activities across manufacturing operations
• Develop and execute production plans that balance customer demand, factory capacity, inventory, and material availability
• Drive weekly supply-demand reviews and communicate risks, constraints, and mitigation plans to leadership
• Serve as a key participant in the SIOP process, translating business priorities into actionable manufacturing plans
• Manage and develop a team of supply and production planning professionals
• Partner closely with Operations, Demand Planning, Program Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing leadership
• Monitor capacity utilization and identify bottlenecks that could impact delivery performance
• Utilize ERP and MRP systems to support scheduling, planning, forecasting, and inventory management activities
• Coordinate planning activities across internal manufacturing sites and external manufacturing partners
• Develop reporting, metrics, and planning analytics to improve visibility and decision-making
• Drive process improvements that strengthen planning accuracy, execution discipline, and operational performance
• Present supply plans, risks, trade-offs, and allocation strategies to business leadership on a regular basis Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 7+ years of production planning, supply planning, or manufacturing planning experience
• 3+ years of leadership or people management experience
• Strong ERP, MRP, scheduling, and capacity planning experience
• Experience participating in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or SIOP processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to organize, analyze, and present complex operational data in a structured manner
• Experience working cross-functionally within manufacturing environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting wafer fabrication, assembly, test, or advanced manufacturing operations
• Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline
• Experience managing supply planning across both internal factories and contract manufacturing partners
• Knowledge of factory flow management, production constraints, and manufacturing execution processes
• Exposure to silicon, InP, GaAs, GaN, or related semiconductor technologies
