Groundskeeper

Job TitleThe Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill RequirementsMust possess the ability to maintain landscaping on the golf courseMust possess the ability to operate all hand tools and power tools such as string trimmer, edger, hedge trimmer, chainsaw, golf utility cart, etc. and equipment related to golf course grounds maintenance operationsAbility to give oral and written instructionsSkilled in grading, seeding, sodding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovationMust be dependableResponsibilitiesProvide a memorable guest experienceMust be team orientedMaintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facilityGrades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairwaysTrims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds, hand rakes bunkers, edges bunkers, string trims and push mows areas not cut by large area mower, cleans grounds of trash and debris, etc.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or managerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
