Cardiovascular Or Tech - Open-Heart Team

This position offers an 8-hour day shift with additional call requirements.

This is a 13-week contract position.

The Cardiovascular Or Tech will be a crucial member of our open-heart team, responsible for assisting in surgical procedures involving cardiac bypass, valve replacements, and robotic lung cases. In addition to these specialized surgeries, the tech will be required to scrub in on general OR cases when needed.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing in for cardiac bypass surgeries
• Assisting in valve replacement procedures
• Supporting robotic lung surgeries
• Scrubbing for general OR cases as necessary
• Responding to call within a 30-minute timeframe, approximately 10 days per month

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Proven experience scrubbing cardiac surgeries, including bypass and valve replacements
• Familiarity with robotic surgical procedures
• Willingness to scrub in for general OR cases as necessary
• Ability to respond to on-call assignments efficiently
