Project Support Lead

The Project Support Lead provides technical support for engineering and technical tasking in support of the DDG(X) ship acquisition Program Office. Tasking includes:

• Facilitates project success by managing daily operations, documentation, reporting, and team coordination
• Bridge the gap between project managers and teams, ensuring adherence to plans, managing risks, monitoring budgets, and providing administrative support to maintain project momentum
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation, including project plans, risk logs, issue registers, and change control logs
• Gathering project metrics from team members, compiling progress reports, and conducting budget tracking and trend analysis
• Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items
• Serving as a central information hub for the project, assisting team members with project management tools and templates
• Monitoring daily operational workflows, ensuring adherence to established best practices, procedures, and frameworks
• Assisting in identifying, tracking, and mitigating potential risks or blockers

Compensation is anywhere from 90k to 140k annual salary based on experience.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance
• Master's degree in business, management, or engineering field
• 10 years' experience with DoD acquisition processes, in DoD/Navy program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management

Desired Qualifications

• Preferred areas of interest include integration of complex multifunctional devices, interface definition and verification, component and system level reliability/maintainability/availability, assessments of shipboard impacts, test case development and test program execution, requirements allocation, cost/benefit and life cycle cost analysis, and/or feasibility studies.
