Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: - BLS - C-EFM - NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: - 2 years of labor experience in a hospital that delivers 350-400 monthly Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery specialty. The role requires availability for day shifts of 12 hours. There are 6 openings available. The unit includes 15 labor beds, 7 ante, and 4 pre/post beds. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1 or 2:1. External fetal monitoring equipment is used. Experience with the EMR system is required. Candidates may be required to float to postpartum. Preferred qualifications include ACLS and PALS certifications. The work environment offers opportunities to engage in various local attractions and activities. Potential candidates should possess a personality fit for a collaborative healthcare setting. Dress code requires black scrubs. General attire must align with professional standards.
