Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Full Time

Jackson HealthPros is hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a permanent position with a hospital in Salina, KS. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements :

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy / Cardiopulmonary Science from an accredited program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• Current Kansas license or eligibility for Kansas licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of respiratory care experience preferred. New graduates will be considered.
• Ability to perform and evaluate respiratory care procedures independently, including work in critical care areas and invasive procedures with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate and consult with multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Role Summary :


The Respiratory Therapist provides prescribed respiratory therapies and evaluates patient responses. The therapist responds to changes in patient condition and workload. Responsibilities include interpreting physician orders, assessing patient needs, delivering therapies, performing invasive procedures as indicated, and consulting with the clinical team to optimize respiratory care across patient care units and critical care areas.
