Certified Respiratory Therapist ($15k Sign-On Bonus)

Overview Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Earn $1,206 – $1,623 per week (3x12 shifts) | Night Shift | Full-Time. Base pay ranges from $33.50 to $45.09 per hour with opportunities for shift differentials. Department: Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory Therapy. Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt. Location: Chicago Metro Area, Illinois. Compensation Sign‑on bonus of $15,000 available for qualified candidates (eligibility and payout terms apply). Weekly earnings: $1,206 – $1,623 for 3x12 shifts. Shift differentials are available. Responsibilities Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments Implement patient‑specific care plans Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately Serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor Respond to critical care situations and emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Qualifications State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained Two years experience as a RCP preferred ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained NRP certificate preferred PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required Benefits Resurrection Medical Center offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, a 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and numerous voluntary benefit options.
