JOB FUNCTION/SUMMARY

ThePortfolioManager(PM)isresponsibleforunderwritingandactivelymanagingaportfolioof commercial loan relationships.ThePM supports one or more Loan Officers throughout the loan origination process, making recommendations on appropriate credit structures and approving credit exposure within assigned authorities. ThePMisadditionallyresponsibleformanagingaportfolioofloansthroughreviewoffinancial statements,proactivemonitoring,andinteractionwiththeLoanOfficerandclient.Theassigned portfolio may include a wide range of borrowers, industries, and deal structures, such as commercial and industrial loans, owner-occupied and investor real estate, and other business-purpose credits.The role requires independent credit judgment and the ability to identify emerging risks.The PM is expected to consistently follow all policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadsthecommercialunderwritingprocessinternallyandexternallyforassigned relationships. In conjunction with teammates, applies knowledge of credit policy and structuring to developsolutionsthatmeetclientneedsandBank'spolicyandregulatoryrequirements. Managesclientcompliancewithloanagreementrequirements,includingcovenant measurements and financial reporting. Responsibleforriskratingaccuracyandannualreviews.Accuratelyspreadsfinancial statements and supports compliance and regulatory reviews. Managesallamendmentsandwaiversforloanswithintheassigned portfolio. M anagesdataintegrityofallinputsandoutputs.ActsasaliaisonwithLoanOperations. Reviews and updates loan system information to ensure accuracy. Developsanindependentpointofviewandprovidesrecommendationstoappropriate decision makers.Appropriately utilizes assigned lending authorities. Recognizesandadherestocompliance withallbankconsumerregulationsandlaws including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Experience: ThreeormoreyearsofrelatedCommercialLending experience. Preferred Requirements: Basic knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan origination, underwriting, processing, tracking and documentation, related state and federal loan regulations and other Bank lending policies. Proficient in computer operation; and spreadsheet software, specifically Microsoft Excel. Basic math skills; calculate interest, proportions,andpercentages;balanceaccounts;add,subtract,multiplyanddivideinallunitsof measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio, and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of charts and graphs.
