Medical-Surgical RN

Location: San Antonio, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A, with weekend coverage every other week.

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical-Surgical RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and a positive, caring attitude towards all patients. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress in the Meditech system.
• Perform IV therapy, including peripheral starts and care, central line management, and ostomy care.
• Float between departments as needed to support patient care across the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active TX RN License (temp licenses are not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical RN.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Meditech charting is preferred.
