UX/UI Designer

UX Designer
This is a UX oriented role primarily focused on MOBILE APP, although there will be opportunities work on both App and Web. This contractor will augment teams current capacity, to support roadmap work primarily in the Retail space. This is truly an omnichannel design opportunity since most transactions that start online end up on store. This contractor will work alongside other UX/UI designers and copywriters on team and partner closely with business owners, product owners, business analysts and developers when crafting innovative design solutions. Collaboration is a huge part of this role.
Required Experience:
At least 2 years of solid, hands on design experience
A portfolio that contains real design work that has been put into production
A portfolio that contains interactive prototypes (or links to prototypes)
Strong presentation and communication skills
A formal design education or a minimum of 5 years proven design experience
A strong online portfolio containing multiple examples that are presented with depth

Enthusiasm and a curiosity for solving problems
Familiarity with iOS and Android standards
Experience working for larger companies / with larger teams is a plus
