Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 4x10-hour shifts (08:45 - 07:15) with additional weekend and holiday coverage required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in a Level I Trauma setting. Candidates should possess a valid PA or compact license and be comfortable in both scrub and circulate roles. The position may require floating to the GI unit or Surgery Center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room environment.
• Assist in various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and care quality.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other departments to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting in Cerner charting system.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required, including weekend and holiday coverage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a Level I Trauma setting.
• Must have Trauma Certification and relevant surgical experience, including liver and kidney procedures.
• BSN required.
• Experience with trauma patients and ability to manage critical situations is essential.
• Charge experience preferred; patient ratio experience of 1:1.
