Lead Automotive Technician
South Austin, TX | William Cannon at I-35
Guaranteed 40 Paid Hours Per Week for First 6 Months | $35-$45 Per Flagged Hour | No Weekends

We're looking for an experienced technician who wants more than just another flat-rate position. You'll work directly with ownership, help develop younger technicians, and work directly with ownership to improve shop processes, and play a key role in building a high-performing team.

This is not an entry-level or maintenance-focused position. We are looking for a technician who can independently diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, HVAC, and major mechanical concerns with minimal supervision while helping elevate the performance of the entire shop.

$35-$45 per flagged hour based on experience, certifications, and ability

Qualifications
5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
Proven experience diagnosing drivability, electrical, and engine performance concerns
Ability to perform major repairs and diagnostics independently
EPA 609 required; ASE certifications preferred
Must provide own tools
Valid driver's license and background check required
Bilingual and Tekmetric experience a plus
