Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated personal care aides to join our team in Plymouth, MI. This role involves providing essential in-home care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe living space.
Assist clients with mobility and transferring as needed.
Report any changes in clients' conditions or concerns to supervisors promptly.
Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in personal care or home health aide role is an asset.
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Plymouth, MI.
Basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices.
Willingness to undergo background checks.
