Cardiology Inventory Control Specialist

This position is responsible for ensuring all Cardiology department's have all the supplies and instruments necessary for efficient and effective patient care. That includes performing a regular inventory of supplies and placing orders to maintain pre-determined stocking levels. Responsibilities include receiving and reconciling all supply orders, replenishing supply locations and processing all in and out-bound freight. High School Diploma/GED Two years of previous experience in material/supply inventory and/or distribution, purchasing, or closely related field. Knowledge and experience in the usage and application of computers and relevant word processing programs. Successful completion of Hazardous Materials Handling training within 1 year of hire. PREFERRED: Previous experience in a hospital setting or cardiology setting preferred Experience working independently, using judgment and problem solving skills as necessary to resolve customer service issues and order discrepancies. #J-18808-Ljbffr Northside Hospital
