Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP / AMT)

Position: Full-Time, evenings or nights available, 40 hours/week

Lab Department Overview: Join our high-energy department that utilizes a state-of-the-art automation line, Epic Beaker, and SoftBank LIS Systems. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II, you will play a crucial role in our team dedicated to delivering exceptional laboratory services and contributing to cutting-edge advancements in healthcare.

MLT / MLS Responsibilities:

• Perform complex laboratory procedures across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory data, maintaining high standards of quality control and assurance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.

MLT Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Technology or related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through ASCP or equivalent accrediting agency.
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS) such as Epic Beaker and SoftBank is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
