Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in an ICU setting and a background in travel nursing. This position requires night shifts, with options for different scheduling preferences. Schedule
- Nights, 3x12 hour shifts or 4x12 hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other hospital areas, including CVICU/CVSD and Cardiac Tele, as needed
- Active Virginia or Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Previous travel experience with at least one completed contract
- CLIN DOC ACCELERATED (for RNs with 6+ months of EPIC experience in the past 12 months)
- CLIN DOC 2 DAY (for RNs with less than 6 months of EPIC experience in the past 12 months)
- Flu vaccine is required during flu season (October 1 - March 31)
- Exemptions for the flu vaccine may be requested for religious or medical reasons, and applicants must comply with applicable guidelines
