Our culture runs on respect, collaboration, and a shared bar for excellence, all pointed at one goal, delivering real outcomes for the customers who trust us to defend them.What You'll DoOwn and evolve system architecture across the platform, keeping it scalable, reliable, and maintainable.Partner with engineering and product teams to design systems that balance fast delivery with long-term flexibility.Lead technical decisions and weigh trade-offs across performance, cost, and complexity.Turn ambiguous business or product needs into clear technical approaches and system designs.Spot architectural gaps, technical debt, and scaling bottlenecks, and fix them before they become blockers.Mentor engineers and act as a technical thought partner across teams.Evaluate and apply AI tools, frameworks, and workflows to improve the product and speed up internal development.Track advances in AI development and help the team adopt the ones worth adopting.Help build a culture of curiosity and experimentation with AI across the organization.What We're Looking For20+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in system design and architecture.A track record of designing and evolving distributed, scalable systems.Broad AWS cloud architecture experience, including designing and building complex data plane and control plane systems.Comfortable going deep technically while influencing broadly across teams.Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly.Experience with data pipelines, highly scalable systems, and cloud native architectures and services.Nice to HaveExperience in cybersecurity.
