Staff Accountant

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented accountant who can take ownership of core accounting workflows and contribute to a consistent, high-quality month-end close. As a Staff Accountant at Accounting Frontier, you will manage reconciliations, support financial reporting, and help ensure client financials remain accurate and up to date. This role is ideal for someone who has developed a solid accounting foundation and is ready to take the next step-m moving from task execution to ownership. You should be comfortable working independently, identifying issues, and maintaining organized, audit-ready financial records. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage bank, credit card, and reconciliations Maintain accurate ledger and classifications Support and execute month-end close processes Prepare financial statements andschedules Assist with AP and AR workflows Identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready books Communicate with internal team members Continuously improve processes and efficiency REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 2-4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong proficiency in Excel and QBO, Xero, etc Solid understanding of GAAP Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to managedeadlines and multiple priorities Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and take ownership ABOUT US OUR MISSION AND VISION At Accounting Frontier, our mission is to help growing firms maintain clean books and dependable financial systems so leadership teams can make confident decisions.
