Position Overview

A leading nonprofit, Magnet-designated pediatric hospital and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center is seeking an experienced CICU RN to join its growing cardiac intensive care team.

The hospital continues to expand its pediatric heart program , adding highly accomplished cardiac surgeons and strengthening its advanced cardiac services. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ICU nurse interested in specialized pediatric cardiac critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity care to pediatric cardiac patients
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and complex treatment plans
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Educate and support patients and families

Requirements

• BSN required
• Active RN license or eligibility
• ICU RN experience required
• Pediatric experience highly preferred
• NRP certification preferred
• CPN or CCRN preferred within 5 years of hire
