Physical Therapy Assistant at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour Day Shifts.

The staff Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a registered physical therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for direct patient care, family /caregiver training, documentation, and team communication for all assigned patients. In addition, the Physical Therapy Assistant performs departmental supportive tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate from a 2-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. or equivalent educ/experience
  • If initially licensed after 2010: Graduate of a CAPTE Program (Commission on Accredited Physical Therapy Education) per Medicare Requirements Ref. 42CFR484.4.
• Upon hire: California Physical Therapy Assistant License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in rehabilitation.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
