Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ED patients, including triage, rapid assessment, monitoring, and ongoing re-evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor responses and document in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver efficient, evidence-based emergency care
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination with inpatient services as needed
- Assist with procedures and respond to patient status changes with prompt escalation when necessary
- Float to Long Term Care or ICU departments as needed; maintain flexibility to support department needs

Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Availability for all shifts; capability to work variable schedules, including 80 hours in a two-week period when required
- Willingness to float to Long Term Care or ICU as needed
- Must meet the target start date of 09/07/2026
- Upon confirmation, communicate date of arrival on island and any compliance items via the Medefis portal
