Description Clamp Operator – 3rd Shift Location: University Park, IL Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 9:30 PM–6:00 AM Now Hiring: Experienced Clamp Attachment Forklift Operators UNIS is seeking experienced Clamp Attachment Forklift Operators to join our team in University Park, IL. We are looking for safety-focused, dependable individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Safely operate a clamp attachment forklift. Load, unload, stage, and move materials throughout the warehouse or production area. Perform pre-shift equipment inspections. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Properly handle and care for equipment and materials. Prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work independently and as part of a team. Requirements Minimum 2 years of clamp attachment forklift experience required. Forklift/powered industrial truck certification required. Current forklift certification preferred. Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, reach, or order-picker equipment is a plus. Experience using RF scanners, WMS technology, and other warehouse tools preferred. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance . Comfortable working at heights of up to 30 feet using appropriate equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently. Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
