This position provides professional nursing care and coordination across multiple living areas to support the health and well-being of individuals. The role involves directing nursing services, maintaining communication, and ensuring compliance with established standards. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties:

• Clinical Support: Apply nursing process steps to maintain individual wellness in accordance with regulatory standards
• Care Planning: Participate in planning and evaluating active treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
• Communication: Relay information to physicians and staff while assisting with examinations and medical interventions
• Health Monitoring: Screen individuals for changes in condition, complete assessments, and report findings promptly
• Emergency Response: Perform required emergency procedures and ensure the safety of individuals during urgent situations
• Documentation: Complete nursing documentation, follow physician orders, and maintain timely and accurate records

• Part-time employment.
• Work hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 5 days per pay period.

• Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly rate of $43.08 (before taxes).

Qualifications Necessary Special Requirements:

• This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
• A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening.
