Overview: Schedule: Full time, Mon-Fri, no weekends/call/holidays Hours vary M-F, could start at 0615am and go until 630pm, either 8 or 10 hour shifts Experience: 2 years of experience in Ambulatory/Outpatient, Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, Pre-Post First-timers accepted: No Weekend REQ: No Is on-call REQ? No Professional Knowledge and Skills REQ: Surgery Cases: Endo/Laparoscopic, General, Gyn, Ortho IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Starting and maintaining IVs Medications: Emergency Medications, Narcotics/Opioid Analgesics, Reversal agents Types of Anesthesia: Conscious Sedation, General, Local, Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC), Nerve Blocks, Spinal Pre/Post Op Care of the Patient: Discharge Instructions, Follow up phone calls, Medication reconciliation, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Obtain Operative/Procedural Consent, Pre/Post Endoscopy procedures, Pre/Post Operative procedures, Pre-op Assessment, Pre-op Education, Pre-Op Medications Professional Topics and Skills: Interpretation and communication of lab values, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol, Pain assessment & management Will this traveler need to float between like units? No Locals accepted: Yes, considered local within 50-mile radius of clinic RTO Accepted: Yes, must be presented upon submission.
