Doctor of Medicine | Anesthesiology - Cardiac Location: Omaha, NE Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The Cardiac Anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive care for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases. While the primary focus is on cardiovascular procedures, providers will also cover general OR cases as needed. This is a hands-on clinical role, which may occasionally include the supervision of CRNAs. Specialized duties include performing transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and managing complex adult and geriatric patients across various settings, including Neuro IR, MRI, and Obstetrics. No pediatric care is required. Qualifications & Credentialing Education & Fellowship: Completion of an ACGME-approved Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship is required. Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Anesthesiology and in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE). Clinical Certification: Current TEE certification is required, having achieved at least testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography (NBE). Licensure: A Nebraska state medical license is highly preferred; however, the facility will consider candidates eligible for IMLC or those willing to obtain a new license. Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is required. Background: A clean malpractice and background history is highly preferred. Credentialing: The typical timeframe for credentialing is 60 to 90 days. What We Offer We provide a competitive compensation structure for this assignment, with malpractice insurance included in the rates. Hourly Rate: $550-$570 per hour. Holiday Rate: $825-$855 per hour. Nightly Call: $1,300-$1,500 per night (includes 2.5 hours gratis). Holiday Nightly Call: $1,950-$2,250 per night (includes 2.5 hours gratis). 24-Hour Daily Call: $4,250-$4,600 (includes 4 hours gratis). 24-Hour Holiday Call: $6,375-$6,900 (includes 4 hours gratis). Callback Rate: $550-$570 per hour after gratis hours are completed. Holiday Callback: $825-$855 per hour after gratis hours are completed. Orientation: $275-$285 per hour for training beyond the first 8 hours.
