Shipping Clerk / Client Services Coordinator

Summary The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) is responsible for providing clients with a high‑quality, professional client experience. The CSC acts as a liaison between the client and Saddle Creek, assisting clients on all issues, answering questions, investigating and resolving a wide array of client questions and concerns using a variety of systems and offering solutions in a positive manner. This position is expected to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other agencies, clients and the public. Responsibilities Communicates with the customer verbally and in writing with a professional and positive attitude. Supports client relationships by becoming an extension of the client’s business. Builds strong rapport with partners, managing relationships, setting expectations and status communication. Assists clients with questions, offers solutions, researches issues and provides status updates. Enters, reviews, coordinates, and tracks progress in all client‑requested enhancements and issue tracking. Proactively identifies process improvements that enhance the client experience and streamline operations. Maintains service reports shared with the client that provide visibility into volumes, SLAs, etc. Participates and presents at client meetings as needed. Communicates client‑requested projects with the operation (Kitting, Receiving, etc.). Coordinates and provides professional communication with clients, client retailers, and SCLS vendors. Supports parcel requests and issues from carrier or client and escalates as needed. Oversees CRM and dispatches tickets appropriately. Supports new client implementations and enhancements as needed. Navigates warehouse systems as needed for client requests. Qualifications Associate’s Degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. At least six (6) months of experience in a customer service role. Experience working with a warehouse management system (WMS) is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable presenting in front of others. Good problem‑solving and prioritizing skills. Ability to effectively manage and resolve conflict. Attention to detail for preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and knowledge of PowerPoint. Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments with wide temperature ranges. Technology savvy. Skills & Abilities Excellent communication (email, phone). Strong interpersonal skills.
