Dental Office Receptionist at Comfort Dental North Ave.

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Schedule: Mon-Fri 1pm-7:30pm, every other Saturday 7am-1pm

Salary: $20-25/hour

Position Overview

The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient front office environment. This role involves managing patient scheduling, handling phone and email communications, and supporting the dental team with administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments; maintain the appointment calendar.
• Collect patient insurance information and collect necessary documentation.
• Check patients in system and prep lobby waiting area.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist with answering and directing incoming phone calls; respond to inquiries or take accurate messages.
• Manage correspondence, emails, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Keep the reception area tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or dental office training preferred.
• Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability speak Spanish, preferred

Working Conditions

• Full-time schedule: Mon-Fri 1pm-7:30pm and every other Sat 7am-1pm
• Office environment with frequent interaction with patients and staff.
• Extended periods of sitting and computer work.
