Job Description MACHINIST Monday - Thursday

- Effectively retrieve, understand, and adhere to QAP documentation.
- Possess and demonstrate basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use technical tools and instruments required to perform duties. Tools and instruments
- include but not limited to: Calipers, Micrometers, and Gauges.
- Demonstrates proficiency to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Ability to identify simple deviation in material requirements.
- Read and interpret set-up documentation.
- Ability to demonstrate fixturing, tool and machine offsets.
- Ability to perform basic preventive maintenance/autonomous maintenance.
- Most of work is not subject to direct check.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities in addition to key performance objectives.
- Adhere to Fluid Control HSE policies and procedures.
- Fully competent in the function of Machinist Grade 11.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Preferred 2 years' experience.
- Prior CNC Mill experience (preferably Giddings & Lewis or Trevisan)
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Previous inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to work in shop environment.
- Basic PC skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated math skills.
- Must demonstrate a willingness to receive on the job training.
- Position requires bending, stooping, and repetitive lifting of components up to 50 lbs.
