Job Description
MRI Technologist - MRI

Schedule:
Varied Afternoon/Day Shifts - 40 Hour Guarantee

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:
- 2+ Years of MRI Experience
- Siemens Experience
- Associate Degree
- Active MRI Certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT)
- Active American Heart Association BLS

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare scan room and patients for examinations.
- Draw up and administer IV contrast as needed; perform warm-up procedures on equipment.
- Conduct patient interviews to screen for contraindications and explain the MRI procedure to patients.
- Transport patients into examination rooms, assist in proper positioning, and ensure safety protocols during scans.
- Mark images properly regarding patient orientation and maintain accurate documentation for radiologist review.
- Prepare and organize exam records and images for efficient radiologist assessment.
