American Berry Company is looking for a strong maintenance professional to join our team. This person will be able to lend a hand with the maintenance team, but will primarily focus on parts procurement/inventory, vendor coordination/scheduling, preventative maintenance planning, and overall project management, as well as reporting.

The ideal person will be able to foresee potential problem areas in the plant by monitoring equipment, understand critical parts management, and communicate with outside vendors and internal team members to ensure efficient coordination. They will work very closely with the Maintenance Manager to troubleshoot issues while deploying strategies to improve plant reliability.

$80,000 - $105,000 yearly

• Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
• Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed

• Manage records of when equipment is serviced and repairs are made

• Assign and manage maintenance tasks within the maintenance system (Fiix)

• Conduct routine maintenance checks and continually monitor equipment performance

• Schedule vendors and manage maintenance projects as needed

• Support the Maintenance Manager

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Over 2 years of maintenance experience
• Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
• Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
