The position involves caring for pediatric patients with various medical needs. Nurses will monitor patients on telemetry and respond to critical situations. Responsibilities include managing medications, conducting assessments, and providing education to families. Experience in pediatrics and telemetry is essential. BLS and PALS certifications are required for this role. Candidates must be comfortable working night shifts. Participation in weekend shifts is expected every other weekend. Previous charge experience is preferred. Nurses will float within their scope to meet facility needs as required. All candidates must possess a strong understanding of infection control and patient safety protocols. This role demands excellent communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Preferred skills include accessing and managing ports, IV maintenance, and telemetry monitoring. Must be able to perform procedures such as phlebotomy, NG tube management, and wound care. Candidates must have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a challenging environment.
