Job Opportunity: Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse

Our organization is in search of a skilled Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse to assist partner hospitals and surgical facilities. This contract position involves delivering comprehensive care to pediatric patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety, comfort, and family involvement.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients.
Administer medications as prescribed.
Prepare the operating room for procedures.
Serve as a circulating nurse or scrub nurse during surgeries.
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR).
Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and child-life specialists.

Qualifications and Requirements

Current RN license with specialization in pediatrics.
Experience in an operating room setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to provide compassionate care to children and their families.
