About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager for Asset-Based Lending. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and managing asset-based lending relationships within the middle market, large corporate, and sponsor-backed client segments. This role requires a focus on delivering customized working capital solutions supported by various forms of collateral, while also managing risk and driving revenue growth. The SVP will serve as the primary client contact for the ABL product, and will be expected to partner closely with credit, underwriting, field exam, and portfolio management teams to ensure the delivery of best-in-class financing solutions. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or a minimum of 4 years' of relevant experience, with a preference for those holding an MBA or CFA. A minimum of 7 years' of commercial portfolio management experience, including 5 years in ABL, leveraged finance, or commercial banking, is required. The role demands a proven ability to originate and manage complex credit relationships, a strong understanding of borrowing base mechanics, and collateral-driven underwriting. Key competencies include credit judgment, structuring expertise, strong client-facing and business development skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. The SVP will also be responsible for internal leadership, collaboration, and contributing to regional ABL strategy and pipeline development.
