Job Description

As an assembler, you will be responsible for building hose assemblies. This includes cutting plastic hosing to precise lengths using a tape measure and chop saw, attaching fittings to the hose ends, and crimping these fittings using specialized crimping tools. You will also perform quality checks on the assembled hoses, ensuring they meet the required standards. The role involves reading drawings and following detailed work instructions to assemble hoses accurately.

Responsibilities

• Build hose assemblies by cutting plastic hoses to specified lengths.

• Attach fittings to hose ends and crimp them using crimping tools.

• Perform quality checks to ensure assembled hoses meet standards.

• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions for hose assembly.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Experience in machine operation.

• Mechanical inclination and understanding of assembly processes.

• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on work experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or construction is preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
