Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to support your patients in a flexible environment. Our clinic provides comprehensive teletherapy services, enabling therapists to connect with individuals in the comfort of their homes. Our work hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patient needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions.
• Organize and lead psychoeducational groups to address pervasive mental health issues and encourage patient engagement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention support, acting swiftly to address mental health emergencies with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Inform patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, complying with all legal and ethical standards related to patient care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development sessions to continuously enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, addressing a wide range of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Therapists at Gotham Enterprises will engage with patients from various backgrounds, ensuring that each individual receives culturally competent care tailored to their unique circumstances and needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LP, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Demonstrated capability to complete comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective, personalized treatment strategies.
• Proven experience delivering both individual and group therapy to multifaceted populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
• Strong emphasis on professional ethics and the ability to exercise sound judgment in diverse scenarios.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in various computer applications.
• A team-oriented mindset, ready to collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary setting to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a minimum of two years of professional experience in the mental health field. Experience with telehealth services and knowledge of community resources are highly advantageous.
