Architect, Design & Construction

This role is responsible for leading and supporting architectural, fit‑out, and construction‑related projects across PSI’s office portfolio, with primary focus on the USA and Canada regions. The position combines architectural planning, project management, contractor coordination, and real‑estate support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in alignment with company standards. This individual will serve as a key technical resource, supporting projects from concept development through execution while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external professionals globally. Architecture Collect and organize technical data; prepare drawings, plans, and documentation for diverse global projects, with a primary focus on fit‑out projects within existing buildings Design architectural and engineering plans and prepare specifications Seek input from and collaborate with professionals across various fields Monitor the work of local engineers; provide guidance to general contractors or subcontractors during the construction phase; remotely supervise workers executing layout designs Network and consult with various industry professionals Maintain and update job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional organizations, and industry publications; stay current with new technologies and industry developments Act as a technical reference within the team for construction methods, detailing, and buildability Support projects involving new construction or broader building‑level scope when required Project Management Manage multiple projects simultaneously Prepare project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation Oversee the bidding process Ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner and that project requirements are met Maintain cost standards by monitoring expenses and implementing cost‑saving measures Ensure effective team collaboration to achieve established goals and targets Demonstrate willingness and ability to travel internationally to construction sites Support coordination with contractors and consultants, with a focus on technical alignment and buildability Projects will primarily focus on the USA and Canada regions, with potential support for global projects depending on team workload, as well as possible involvement in building‑scale projects based on business needs Perform light administrative duties and support local office logistics to ensure smooth daily operations (estimated at 5–10% of the role) Real Estate Interact with various departments and industry professionals Prepare documents, reports, presentations, and proposals for executive management Participate in the development and maintenance of company standards and requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect Experience in fit‑out projects is strongly preferred; experience in building‑scale projects is an advantage Strong practical understanding of construction processes, ideally gained through hands‑on experience (e.g., working with contractors or on‑site exposure) Real‑estate experience is a plus Well‑rounded professional with experience from concept development through project completion, including maintenance of existing buildings Excellent design, technical drawing, and presentation skills Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing, including maintenance of existing buildings, with the ability to advise others Knowledge of building regulations, codes, norms, and standards Excellent organizational, project management, and reporting skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Deadline‑driven and committed to excellence Expertise in fire prevention, security, ESG, or related areas is welcome Proficiency in Revit (preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD Working knowledge of MS Office applications Proficiency in presentation and visual editing programs (PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite) Fluent in English with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills (Advanced/C1 level) For this position, PSI is not hiring individuals who require work visa for employment or continued employment now or anytime in the future. #J-18808-Ljbffr PSI CRO
