Location:Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center Essential Responsibilities:
- Patrols lobbies, corridors and public restrooms, confers with management, interviews guests and team members and interviews persons to detect infringements, investigates disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
- Patrols public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.
- Acts to warn or reject individuals who violate legal regulations, including state and local laws.
- Obtains assistance for accident victims and files accident reports.
- Notifies staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
- Assists management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
- May enter and check rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property.
- Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
- Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
- Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

- Performs other related duties as required.

- Interact with all levels of customers and hotel management.
- Being comfortable with the high level of visibility and the leadership role with the hotel and community.
- Able to work under pressure
- Security experience preferred (Military Veteran, Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Corrections)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Current Driver's License required.
- Position requires flexibility to work adjusted schedule, including nights and weekends as needed. Responsible for responding to emergencies as necessary, requiring the possibility of response times occurring on nights and/or weekends.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or most of the time) to move objects.
- May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.
- This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to additional safety requirements.
- Inside and outside work environment. Not substantially exposed to adverse conditions.
