Driver Class A

Clean Harbors in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll‑off trucks. The role performs driving and non‑driving duties related to hazardous waste clean‑up on and off customer sites. Benefits Health and safety is our #1 priority. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes. Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed. Operate a variety of Class A trucks. Load and unload trucks. Perform manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs. Properly placard vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements. Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and other reports. Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules. Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulations. Observe all corporate operating guidelines and environmental health and safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week. Participate in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials. Qualifications Required qualifications: Valid Class A CDL. Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days. Ability to use various mobile devices. Perform physical functions required by the job. Successfully complete background check, drug test, and physical (by position). Meet facial hair standards if respirator use required. Preferred qualifications: Commercial driver experience. Hazmat and Tanker endorsement. Previous Hazmat experience. Ability to operate a manual transmission. Previous manual labor experience.
