Registered Nurse (RN) NICU PRN

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a PRN (as needed) schedule. Day shift- including weekends and holidays.

Inova Alexandria Hospital (IAH) offers a newly renovated, 16-bed, Level III NICU. Newborns who are premature or have special needs are well cared for around the clock in our patient-centered NICU by specially trained, board-certified neonatologists as well as specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and nutritionists.

NICU PRN Qualifications:

• Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, 1 year of specialty RN experience if required by unit
• Certification - Basic Life Support through AHA
• Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

NICU PRN Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of NICU RN experience
