Insight Global is seeking a Quality Control Electrician for a top electrical construction and commissioning client. This candidate will play a critical role in ensuring quality standards are maintained across large-scale electrical construction projects. The ideal individual has strong field experience, enjoys mentoring others, and is passionate about improving processes, safety, and overall project execution. This position offers extensive travel, leadership opportunities, and exposure to some of the industry's most innovative projects.

Day-to-Day:

• Perform quality inspections on electrical installations

• Will walk around with small hand tools and tablet

• Review construction documents and identify quality concerns

• Analyze commissioning/startup schedules

• Audit field work for compliance with standards and best practices

• Conduct jobsite coaching and employee development

• Support project leadership with quality recommendations

• Perform safety inspections and ensure OSHA/LOTO compliance

• Assist with arc flash study data collection

• Partner with project teams to improve quality processes

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 5+ years of electrical field experience - Must be at least Journeyman

• Strong understanding of electrical installations, conduit systems, lighting systems, feeders, and motor feeders

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and LOTO procedures

• Ability to travel 100%

• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills Plusses:

• Experience with commissioning and startup procedures

• Leadership experience leading small electrical crews

• Experience performing QA/QC audits

• Arc Flash study support experience

• Training and mentoring experience
