Assembly Worker

Assembly TechnicianStandard Bots is building the next generation of industrial robots — hardware that's powerful, affordable, and designed to scale. We're moving fast from prototype to high-volume production, and the people assembling our robots are the most important people in the building. This role is central to that.We're looking for an Assembly Technician to build the robots that are showing up on factory floors across the country. You'll work closely with the Production Supervisor and engineering team to assemble precision robotic systems to spec — doing the hands-on work that turns parts into a finished product. This is a role for someone who takes pride in clean, accurate assembly work, catches issues before they become problems, and shows up every shift ready to execute.What You'll DoAssemble production robots and components according to specifications and work instructionsPerform quality checks throughout the assembly process and report issues to the Production SupervisorMaintain a safe, organized work environment in accordance with company and industry standardsManage material handling and distribution to workstationsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the production floorWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in a mass production or manufacturing environment1+ year of hands-on assembly, maintenance/repair, or tool experienceAbility to lift up to 50 lbsStrong attention to detail — you catch things, you don't let things slideClear communicator who can flag issues quickly and work well within a teamAble to prioritize and stay focused when things are moving fastNice to HaveAssociate's or Bachelor's degreeExperience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturingMachine shop or CNC equipment experienceFamiliarity with OSHA standards and workplace safety practicesCompensation and BenefitsThe pay rate for this role is $30.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience. Base pay is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots. All full-time employees are eligible for Employee Stock Options. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
