What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient obstetrics and gynecology care on call, including deliveries, emergency interventions, and patient consultations
• Cover 12-hour or 24-hour shifts as scheduled, including night and day shifts
• Collaborate with the facility’s healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain documentation, case logs, and adhere to facility protocols
• Participate in on-call duties, including responding to urgent OB/GYN cases and deliveries

What You Need

• Valid Oregon medical license and DEA license
• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Current BLS certification
• 3+ years of obstetric and gynecological clinical experience
• Ability to perform emergency OB procedures and manage acute cases
• Local candidates are strongly preferred

About the Assignment
This inpatient OB/GYN locum position is based at a leading hospital in Portland, Oregon. The facility offers onsite accommodations, including a sleep room for providers on 24-hour shifts. Privileging is estimated to take around 90 days; case logs from the past 24 months are required for credentialing. The lead physician will conduct virtual interviews on scheduled dates in late May and early June, so please confirm your availability.
