General Production WorkerThe General Production Worker supports high-volume manufacturing operations by transferring, stocking, loading, and unloading materials for automated production lines that produce airbag inflators. This role focuses on maintaining a steady flow of components to the line, performing basic rework on inflators when needed, and following established quality procedures and visual inspection standards to ensure products meet strict specifications.ResponsibilitiesTransfer, stock, and load/unload a wide variety of production materials to and from the manufacturing lines, including diffusers, holders, retainers, initiators, o-rings, end caps, sleeves, canisters, filters, tubes, disks, foil seals, springs, support barrels, shorting clips, labels, and generant.Support continuous operation of automated production equipment by ensuring materials are correctly staged, organized, and available at the appropriate workstations.Perform basic rework and correction on inflators as directed, following established procedures and quality standards.Carry out quality procedures and audits, including dimensional checks and visual inspections, to verify that products meet required specifications.Follow all safety protocols and handling procedures when working around explosives and other sensitive materials.Use automated equipment interfaces and technology tools as part of daily production activities, ensuring accurate operation and reporting.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with manufacturing and safety guidelines.Stand and walk throughout the shift to support production flow and respond to line needs in a timely manner.Lift, push, and pull materials and product up to 40 pounds on a regular basis to support production requirements.Adhere to all site rules related to prohibited items, including lighters, matches, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, vape pens, and e-cigarettes.Work assigned shifts and be available for extended hours, including overtime and rotating schedules that may involve weekend work.Essential SkillsPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours per day in a production setting with no sitting work areas.Comfort working in proximity to explosives and following strict safety procedures.Technical aptitude and comfort with automated equipment and technology-driven production processes.Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks, including dimensional and visual inspections.Reliability and willingness to work 6–7 days per week when required, including rotating schedules and weekend shifts.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established production and safety protocols.Additional Skills & QualificationsInterest in developing mechanical aptitude that could support future growth into equipment technician or maintenance-focused roles.Willingness to learn additional production processes and quality procedures over time.Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and rotating days off while maintaining consistent performance.Strong work ethic and commitment to supporting a high-volume, safety-critical manufacturing operation.Why Work Here?You join a growing manufacturing operation that offers clear pathways for advancement and skill development. Work is performed entirely on your feet, with no sitting workstations, and involves regular lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 40 pounds. The site enforces strict safety rules, including a prohibition on lighters, matches, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, vape pens, and e-cigarettes anywhere inside the facility; these items must remain in personal vehicles. Production operates on multiple shifts, including 1st shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.), and 3rd shift (10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.). The first workday is a standardized orientation day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., after which team members move to their designated shift. Regular schedules are Monday through Friday, but the facility currently runs frequent weekend work and extended overtime. In areas with prolonged overtime, rotating schedules are used, typically 6 days on and 2 consecutive days off, with days off shifting week to week to provide shared access to weekends. This is a structured, safety-focused environment that relies on automated systems, clear procedures, and consistent attendance.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Queen Creek, AZ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.55/hr.
