Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under the supervision of the Professional Registered Nurse and/or the Physician, provides age‑appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care, maintains a safe environment, educates patients and their families, collects information, communicates effectively, and utilizes technology. The LPN participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of health care services and tasks. The role also includes patient advocacy, teaching, performance improvement, and supervision of unlicensed personnel. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse – required Current Georgia License as a Practical Nurse 2+ years of experience as a Practical Nurse – preferred Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider Card – required Core Competencies Patient‑Centered Care – Demonstrates a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and high‑quality care that prioritizes the well‑being and satisfaction of patients and their families.
