The Finance IT Systems team is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of enterprise finance platforms, billing systems, and related business applications.We are seeking a Senior D365 Finance and Operations Engineer to serve as a core technical member of the Finance IT Systems team. This role will configure, extend, integrate, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. The engineer will work with Finance, Supply Chain, IT, implementation partners, and other application teams to deliver reliable, secure, auditable, and scalable ERP capabilities.ResponsibilitiesPrimary job responsibilities include:Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management across financial, procurement, inventory, order management, manufacturing, and related business processesTranslate functional designs and business requirements into technical designs, configurations, extensions, integrations, and system solutionsDesign, develop, test, and maintain D365 extensions using X++, Visual Studio, and extension-based development practicesDevelop and support data entities, batch processes, workflows, forms, reports, business logic, and security configurationsDevelop and support integrations using APIs, OData, business events, data entities, Azure Logic Apps, Dataverse, and other applicable technologiesParticipate in design workshops, fit-gap analysis, prototyping, data migration, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, and stabilizationSupport data migration activities including extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolutionManage source control, build processes, release pipelines, deployment packages, and code promotion across development, test, sandbox, and production environmentsTroubleshoot performance, batch processing, integration, data, security, deployment, and production issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actionMaintain technical designs, system documentation, deployment procedures, support runbooks, and configuration recordsSupport D365 security design, including roles, duties, privileges, segregation of duties, and least-privilege accessReview partner-developed solutions for technical quality, maintainability, security, performance, and compliance with D365 development standardsUse AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, and diagnostic tools to improve delivery quality and operational efficiencyOther duties as assignedRequirementsTechnicalStrong hands-on experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and OperationsProficiency in X++ development, debugging, extensions, event handlers, Chain of Command, and D365 development patternsExperience using Visual Studio to develop or extend data entities, forms, tables, classes, workflows, reports, batch processes, and business logicExperience with Azure DevOps, including source control, work items, builds, release pipelines, branching, deployments, and application lifecycle managementExperience developing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, OData, data entities, business events, JSON, and file-based interfacesExperience with Azure integration technologies such as Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Power Platform, or comparable toolsWorking knowledge of Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, dual-write, or virtual entitiesStrong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshootingExperience with the D365 Data Management Framework, data packages, recurring integrations, and migration activitiesAbility to troubleshoot application performance, batch jobs, integrations, deployments, data issues, security, and production incidentsFunctionalWorking knowledge of D365 Finance capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and bank management, fixed assets, budgeting, and financial reportingWorking knowledge of D365 Supply Chain Management capabilities such as procurement, inventory, warehouse management, sales orders, product information management, production, or transportationUnderstanding of financial accounting concepts, subledger-to-general-ledger processing, financial dimensions, posting profiles, and period-close processesExperience operating within a SOX-controlled environment and supporting IT general controls, change management, access controls, segregation of duties, and audit evidence requirementsExperience supporting integrations with third-party logistics providers, tax platforms, billing systems, banks, payment processors, ecommerce systems, data warehouses, or reporting platformsExperience5 to 8 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Dynamics AX, ERP engineering, or enterprise application developmentAt least 3 years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, or supporting Dynamics 365 Finance and OperationsExperience supporting production environments with formal testing, change management, deployment, and incident management processesExperience working with systems integrators, software vendors, business teams, and internal technical teamsExperience reviewing technical designs and code developed by implementation partners or third-party resourcesDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex application, integration, data, security,
