As a Security Officer - Screening Associate in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic technology location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and team members, support access procedures, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding communication and customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries at designated access points while following posted rules, badge requirements, and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, monitor entry activity, and report unusual conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access or other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
