MUSC Health is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician to join our Midlands Division hospitals in Camden and Columbia, South Carolina. As part of the state’s only comprehensive academic health system, you’ll practice in a collaborative, well-resourced environment with strong clinical support and access to advanced technology. Our Emergency Medicine teams provide expert, timely treatment for a full spectrum of urgent and critical conditions, backed by skilled APPs, experienced nursing staff, and robust multi-specialty collaboration.

• MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast – 75-bed hospital located in one of Columbia’s fastest-growing suburbs. Features a modern 14-bed ED designed for efficiency, collaboration, and patient-centered care.

• APP support and outstanding nursing care – our NPs and PAs are experienced in Emergency Medicine
• To give our physicians a work-life balance, scheduling is 2-3 months in advance
• State-of-the-industry outpatient facility featuring 15 patient rooms and a dedicated fast track.
• Dedicated emergency department advanced GE ultrasound machine for providers and Glidescope Core.
• Stat laboratory services on site
• Comprehensive on-site imaging services, including digital X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, limited interventional radiology and more.
• Easy access to transfer to main campus from the other Midlands facilities.
• Multi-specialty support for patient care needs. The Columbia Medical Center - Downtown functions as a tertiary care facility with subspecialty services, including neurosurgery, urology, and interventional, cardiology, cardiothoracic, surgery, and more.
